reeking of smoke and alcohol is the marvel of hollowed eve, one of death city's relatively few bars. inside, patrons cluster around small tables and conduct their business, clean or otherwise. the lights are perpetually dimmed by the smoke of cigars or cigarettes- some would call it fitting, as it's one of the best places to bear witness to some of the city's darkest secrets. rumor has it witches and kishin aren't always turned away at the door.

sitting at the furthest corner of the south district is a pretty little cabaret club, infamous for their employees' large "pumkins" of various definition. a relatively small fee meets patrons at the door, presumably to encourage them to spend more inside. for a little extra, it's said you can rent a room on the second story. but who knows? this club is always subject to rumors.

at some point in time, everyone has passed by this building without a passing glance. its exterior grey, bland, and generally unappealing, the unknowing would never so much as think to guess at its contents. but if curiosity draws you to its doors, you'll be rewarded with a lavish arcade, offering almost every video game ever made (they cycle out, from time to time) for only a quarter a go. students of the dwma especially have a penchant for getting "lost" on the way to class and accidentally wind up here.

one of the oldest buildings in death city, the great beyond is a movie theater notorious for its showing of cult hits, past and present. one of their highlights is the friday night double feature, wherein they play a classic film and follow it up with its modern remake.
